The Model United Nations Club of St. Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa, goes back to 2016 when a group of students attended the 9th session of the Sri Lanka Model United Nations Conference 2016 held at BMICH. The club officially began in 2017, and throughout the years, SSCMUN has produced multiple award winners, gaining a reputation in the MUN arena in Sri Lanka. A new era for the club commenced with the tremendous success of its inaugural conference, SSCMUN 2024. Endorsed by SLMUN and attracting over 150 delegates from leading schools on the island, this conference facilitated meaningful discussion and debate, defining diplomacy in the pursuit of solutions. Continuing the legacy left behind by the inaugural conference and redefining the standards of a school MUN conference, the Model United Nations Club of St. Sebastian’s College presents the highly anticipated second volume, SSCMUN 2025, under the theme “Evolving Global Solutions”
